Covers most every publicly traded company in the world. It provides all types of financial data including equities, fixed income, indices, commodities, currencies & funds.
Type the company name and the Help key. e.g. Intel Inc provides a company profile which includes links to company research and information on all equity and others.
Note: “Bloomberg Anywhere” can be accessed remotely, please write to Aishwarya Krishna (email: aishwarya.krishna@iimb.ac.in) to get the access.
Calcbench
It covers the statistical data on global companies for the last 14 years. It includes data on financial, quick reports, fillings, equity Compensation, geographical segments, business combinations, peers & analytics etc.
Please type company name in search box and select from the listed results and choose available parameters to download the data as per your requirement.
CRSP-Restricted Access (Only to Faculty & FPM)
The Center for Research in Security Prices, LLC (CRSP) covers most comprehensive collection of security price, return, and volume data for the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ stock markets. The data can be downloaded in several formats, including Excel, Stata, and comma-separated values. It can be access through WRDS platform.
Please go to ‘Get data’ from top and click on ‘CRSP’ >> click on “stock/security file” >> click on “daily stock file” >> select the parameters as per your requirement in the given steps >> enter your email ID and click on ‘submit form’ button to get the data.

EMIS Intelligence-Global
It includes around 11 million+ company profiles and 3 million with financial data. It covers information on companies like corporate information, key executives, ownership details, subsidiaries, news & financial and annual reports. Annual reports are available for the last 5 years.
Client log-in to EMIS >> Type Company name in search box >> click on search >> click on company from listed results >> click on ‘overview’ to view the information and click on pdf from top right corner to download.
Factiva
Factiva includes 1.8 million global companies including the listed & unlisted. it covers financial, regulatory filings, analysis & profiles, news, key developments, peer comparison, ownership, corporate family and reports & market data charts.
Please go to Companies/Markets tab >> Choose Company name & type company name in search box >> click on any company from listed results >> click on available parameters from the left panel to download the data as per your requirement.
Marketline
It covers 102000+ companies' information like profile & overview, product & services, company statement, Key locations & subsidiaries, key employees, history, swot analysis, research reports deals etc.
Please go to Companies tab >> Please select company name from drop-down box and type Company name in the search box, tick mark on ‘exact word’ check box then click on search icon>> now click on company from listed results and choose Profile from left side and select the parameters to download the data as per your requirement.
Nexis UNI
It covers 80 M to 200 M companies. it covers information like company history, executive contacts, competitors, financial, SEC filings, M & A, investment research, legal etc.
Please select ‘Company Dossier’ by clicking ‘Menu’ on top >> type company name in the search box >> select company from listed results >> Click on company information >> click on ‘generate report’ button on the right top and select the available parameters >> again click on ‘generate report’ button >> now click on link to download report.
Orbis
Orbis covers information on private & public companies. It covers especially ownership structure & other details, key information, accounting information, contact, industry & activities, legal information identifiers & M & A deals, peers, directors, credit ratings, agency ratings & cross border investments.
Type the company name on the search box >> click on ‘Company Profile’ from left panel >> select the parameters to download the data as per your requirement.
Refinitiv-Eikon
Eikon covers public companies 50,000+ and private companies 1.7 million. It is a cross asset database providing Global Pricing Data, Company Fundamentals, IBES estimates, deals & corporate actions, fillings, company estimates, ownership, peers, ESG & datastream’s data.
Type Company name in search box >> Click on Overview & choose the parameters to download the data as per your requirement.

WRDS Compustat-Restricted Access (Only to Faculty & FPM)
It covers financial and market data on companies. It covers information on aggregates, industry segments, banks, market prices, dividends, and earnings. You can get daily data from these modules-Global, North America, Bank and Historical segments. The data can be downloaded in several formats, including Excel, Stata, and comma-separated values

ABI Inform Complete
It provides information on company annual report. You can get specific companies by using the Company/Org field in combination with other search terms through Advance search option. The major focus of this database is full-text key business & economic articles, dissertations and working papers.
Please go to ‘Browse’ on top >> click on ‘company reports’ >> click on Proquest Annual Reports Collection >> choose the company name from listed results and click on ‘view document’ link >> click on ‘full text pdf’ to download the report.
EBSCO-Business Source Ultimate
It covers the information on company profiles, market research reports, swot analysis etc. Major focus of this database is full-text periodical articles.
