External Membership: Frequently Asked Questions

If you are a research scholar/faculty, you need bring researcher ID, letter of the University from either the regulation or the guide. Fill the form by downloading here send all documents to library@iimb.ac.in you will receive a confirmation email.

You can get IIMB Library membership by submitting a copy of Alumni card of IIMB along with local Address Proof and download Alumni Application Form from Here

Borrowing loan period will be for 15 days, after that you can renew the book in our Online Catalogue by using the credentials provided, or you can drop an email to library@iimb.ac.in. For late renewal or late return, Rs.1/- per day.

As per policy, the member can access electronic content only inside the library, after they get the Library Membership. This access restricted to the one-hour session which includes e-journal articles for limited printing. The accessibility of the Library E-resources is only for Alumni, Research Students and faculty.

IIMB Library has the following three types of external memberships.
a) Alumni Membership
b) Educational Institutional Membership
c) Corporate (Profit Org) Membership

Membership is not extensible to undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students.
